Principle of Intelligent Lens Fouling Detection

The detection of lens fouling is implemented based on the principle of the thermoelectric effect. When there are contaminants on the lens surface, the thermal radiation characteristics of the lens change, leading to abnormal distribution of the local temperature field. After this temperature change is received by a thermosensitive sensor, a corresponding electrical signal is generated due to the thermoelectric effect. This electrical signal then undergoes a series of processes—including amplification, filtering, comparison, and counting—via a signal processing circuit. This enables accurate determination of the lens’s fouling status, and ultimately achieves automatic detection and control of the inspected object.
